Hi everyone

Sorry that I have been very absent. Very shortly explained: I had to finish my internship, broke up after 6.5 years, was left broke by my ex, moved 3 times, got a job, still had to work on graduating and my parents divorced.

All that in six months.

I now have a place of my own and a car. It wasn't easy to get where I am now. I have not had any mind to draw or write.

I'll try to be back soon.

I won I won!!!

I know I haven't posted in a while, graduating from uni and starting my new awesome job and finding a place to live are still taking up time. I do try to keep up with comments when I can.
And... I joined the one hour contest hosted last time by SerenaVerdeArt thinking 'well, I can draw for one hour, certainly!' and I won!!! This is Rhistel, a character from La Chiave delle Ombre, an anime by SerenaVerdeArt, and please see all the other entries here, because they were awesome too!




So this time I host the next One Hour Contest:

Rules:

For each round of the contest, you are given one hour to draw the character presented by the host. After a week of submissions, the host judges each of the entries and selects one winner, who will effectively take the place as the next host.

You can't win twice in a row, but after that everything is fair game!

This is an honour based system so I won't know if you took seven hours or one, but please try to keep it near the one hour mark.

If you win, you can only request original characters! So you'll get a bunch of fan art when it comes to be your turn! The more people you tell about this the more ' prizes' you get once you win! (the prizes are entries, see?)

About Florence

She is a character from a demon world, she is basically a shaman wolf. Her clan was killed when she was still a child, and she made a new clan with friends and newcomers. She has had to be very strong to keep the group together.

Florence has some magical spells and is good at tactics. Sometimes she has wolf-ears, sometimes she doesn't (so do what you prefer!). She can transform into a huge wolf, walking on two or four legs. She rides a huge tiger with two tails!

Hey all,

As you may have noticed, I've been very slow with replying to your comments, and looking at your new artworks. I have major computer problems. My old one seemed to have died, and when I bought a new one (with crapVista) it wouldn't go online! I don't know what the problem is, but it's very annoying. My dad brought over an old laptop, but I haven't had the time so far to sit down and be able to check my things, just emails sort of. (*cry* I have like 500 new deviations to look at... it's gonna take me a week!)

So apologies for that! I will probably remain slow until my computer is fixed and internet works properly!

On another note, I'm still working hard on finishing my uni and it's getting so close I can smell it - or is that my toast burning? O__O;; No srsly, I'm trying to hurry up, but it's really tough and I don't have much time for other things, even art. After that I promise a rebound!!

And I think I will take some commissions too... :3 so if you have ideas, you can already post them! I really want to be done in three to four weeks max!!

Break up
As some of you might have learned from the new photos in my gallery, I broke up with my boyfriend, after having been together for over six years. The last year we moved in together. Some people say 'you only really get to know a person then', but it was not really like that for us. The problem was that the fire kinda died out: he's got a fulltime job, a work-car, the mortgage is on his name.... and I still need to finish studying, I still need a job, still need to make really big choices in my life. He's just got everything like he wants it in this house, and I'm longing for a place that is just me. So... it's over.

I'm not looking for anything new, planning to stay single for a while until I found myself again, and feel totally independent again.

And there's no need to feel bad, in stead wish me luck! I will have a job-interview next monday for a great function!!

Competition Scandals
I'm not going to join competitions anymore where someone promises to do an artwork for me because I'm tired of it! I'm still waiting for several pictures, like from IcyKitty and hanasazumi as a reward for my participation! I understand if they have things to do, but it shouldn't take MONTHS!! Get a grip on your work, or stop offering artworks!
